Start with the documented color character
Divine White is a beige-influenced off-white. Temperature is a useful description, but neighboring materials can change the impression. Divine White's beige influence and moderate off-white depth make it distinct from a very bright cream-white.
Limestone and oak can support the warm direction, while a brighter white control establishes how much color the wall is contributing.
Use Canvas Tan as a control
Put Divine White directly against the whitest permanent surface and then against the warmest one. If those two boundaries disagree, decide which surface controls the project. The word warm cannot reconcile every ivory cabinet with every white stone, and a cooler label does not automatically imply an unsuitable room.
Divine White has an LRV of 72; Sherwin-Williams Canvas Tan SW-7531 is 64. The difference is 8 points, with Divine White returning more light under the reference measurement. Canvas Tan is a light khaki-like neutral. This supplies a named color control; the LRV gap alone does not identify the warmer, greener or pinker paint.
The condition for keeping Divine White
Check the beige impression at the stone edge and compare a brighter white before choosing trim. The undertones and neighboring colors covers that related choice.
Judge the temperature description against the full cream limestone and oak cabinetry arrangement. A warm or cool label is a useful starting category; it cannot guarantee that Divine White agrees with every material assigned the same label. The wood-floor pairing guide covers that related choice. Before ordering samples, compare room-planning features in the paint color visualizer roundup.
